"That's 70s Show" will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this coming August, and there are just so many hilarious, unforgettable moments to take away from the 8-years worth of episodes. If there is anyone to learn relationships from I'd say its TV stars, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who shared their first kiss when she was 14 years old on "That's 70s Show" and are now married with 2 kids. If you are a true fan, you know it was all fun and games being Jackie and Kelso or Eric and Donna, but there is a lot to learn about who you are in the relationship and having fun just by watching these crazy teens. Basically, if you haven't binge watch the show a bunch of times like I have looking for different relationship quirks and insider jokes, you better start now. Here are a few iconic moments where "That's 70s Show" sums up all types of relationships.
1. When your best friend tells you-you need a mans in your life and you want her to shut up...
We all have that one friend that tries to play matchmaker and has their share of fails. (Pshht yeah, that's not me at all...) One day you may thank this friend. After a few dozen of times just yelling at them because they suck at the job they gave themselves.
2. And then you realize, maybe she's right.
Maybe you just want a little action. Let your friend know that before she doesn't quit on trying to find you a mans. Don't let your friend over invade but ask for feedback when necessary.
3. When you actually meet the person you've been talking to on Tinder for the past week because your friends convinced you to...
Sometimes you just gotta get out of bed, dress up, and make it happen so you can stop being sad in bed.
4. And you have to text the group chat to call you and fake a tragedy.
So you may not have the best luck like Eric, and that's okay. Give it some time and things will fall into place.
5. Or you caught feels?
Maybe things went great and now you are screwed like Hyde with his fling with Jackie. Now you have another thing to blame your BFFL for.
6. And sometimes you're Fez.
It's okay to be like Fez. Every human has needs and Fez just happens to not have a filter when it comes to what he is thinking or feeling. We all know a Fez in our friend group and they are really good at keeping things interesting.
7. But whoever you are, just don't be like Laurie.
Everyone also has a Laurie in their group. These are relationships to observe and just learn from. Maybe keep this person at arm's length but you could definitely learn some tips and tricks from them.
8. It is okay to be as needy as Jackie...
Everyone has their Jackie moments no matter who you are. There is nothing wrong with that. Jackie is always in a relationship, always trying new things and sometimes you are that person that has to be in a relationship. Hey, I'm not against it.
9. ...Sometimes.
No matter how Jackie you are, sometimes you may say some silly things. Jackie is memorable for her sassy, self-centered remarks. If you are this person, I recommend just watching how needy you are or finding someone who can give you their undivided attention.
10. Be as sweet and dumb as Kelso, because you will be the life of the party. But always remember...
Kelso is my all time favorite. I am Kelso. Sweet, but dumb, and sometimes douchey, all added up to the life of the party. Kelso just goes with the flow and keeps things interesting.
11. No matter how messy or shitty things get, you always have your friends at the end of the day.
Friends are everything. They will be there with you through thick and thin, not matter how silly you get.
Whether your relationship status is single and ready to mingle like Fez, needy like Jackie, nerdy and awkward like Eric, "whatever" like Donna, secretively emotional like Hyde, or sweet and dumb like Kelso, you will get it right one day. Maybe not as easy as Jackie and Kelso in real life, but you have to enjoy the ride and have some fun beforehand.
