I love reading Odyssey content almost as much as I love creating Odyssey content. Every trend has me laughing, relating, or brainstorming on how I can add my own spin to it. That's why when I noticed the trend where folks would ask their significant other 20 questions about themselves I knew I wanted to give it a try. I mean these articles were absolutely adorable!
However, there was one small issue, I am single and don't necessarily have a boyfriend to ask these questions to. Additionally, after my recent article on Tinder horror stories, I deleted the app.
However, through the app, I have been able to meet many folks, some of which I still talk to this day. I figured I would ask a long-time tinder match (more so friend now) these 20 questions and take my own spin on the challenge. Let me say, the results genuinely surprised me.
With no further ado, here's how it went:
1. Where am I from?
Technically yes, but I really am from a suburb of the city.
2. What's my favorite food?
Yep, but a solid tie with Skyline Chili
3. What color are my eyes?
Correct, surprised he remembered.
4. What's a food I hate?
Nope, I would've said seafood.
5. What's my love language?
Quality time and words of affirmation lol.
6. What's my biggest strength?
R: Going out in the rain in light clothing apparently
Context: I sent him one (1) snap about how I went on a run in a white shirt and it ended up pouring. He has not let it go yet, unfortunately.
7. What's my biggest insecurity?
R: See the above answer.
A girl truly cannot catch a break huh?
8. What is my biggest fear?
R: *Rated R Answer*
We met on Tinder, so I'm not surprised he pulled out one of those.
9. What is something I do that annoys you the most?
R: Tell me you want to hang out when you don't have any availability
Guilty as charged.
10: What is something I do that you appreciate the most?
R: You paint a good picture ;)
Again, not surprised with this one.
11. How tall am I?
I am 5'1.
12. What's my favorite color?
R: Pastel Pink
Baby Blue or Purple
13. How many siblings do I have?
14: What do you think I am most confident about?
R: Your ~abilities~
15. What is my biggest pet peeve?
R: Work being postponed due to Coronavirus
I only lost one internship, so I wasn't too upset about this. I would've said bad communicators.
16. What's one thing I'm really good at?
R: Getting caught in the rain
When will he move on from this? We may never know.
17. What's my favorite thing about you?
R: My whit
18. What's a cause I'm passionate about?
There's a few, but I think him being broad encompassed the gist of it.
19. What is my most attractive feature?
R: Your lips
This is lowkey my biggest insecurity so I was surprised he said that.
20: What's my music taste like?
R: Typical College Female
Offended, but I know he's not wrong.
Overall he ended up answering 8 of the 20 questions "correctly". Though this isn't necessarily a high percentage, I was still surprised he got those right as we never ended up pursuing each other so he's never "had" to listen. Though this was fun to try, I will say this trend definitely was much cuter with relationships instead!
