Relating with the Arrested Development Characters

Arrested Development is my favorite show of all time and the characters are very relatable.

1. Not caring about the haters.

Lucille Bluths has a lot of critics but no matter what she always walks around with that same sass and confidence. Although she takes a little more offense when it's from her own children.

2. Just sort of giving up on everything.

I feel like this gif at least once a day. George Michael is just trying to get through life, especially when your dad can't even remember your girlfriend's name and your in love with your cousin.

3. Just wanting to spend quality time with the family or anyone really.

G.O.B. really just wants recognition from the family, especially for his magic. But everyone seems to busy to hang out with him.

4. Getting sick of the people you see all the time.

Michael Bluth is the member of the family who has everything worked out, but often times things don't work out the way he wants because of who is other family members are.

5. But at the end of the day we all still want time with our moms.

Buster just hasn't grown out of the juice box, mommy loving phase quite yet. But really have any of us?

6. The struggle of wanting to do good things for others but also wanting to do good things for yourself.

Lindsay has great intentions, but she struggles with separating her desire for helping people with her desire to be pampered.

7. Trying to reach your dreams.

Tobias' dream to be an actor is really pretty inspiring, except for the way he goes about it...

8. Acting like you have things figured things out but in realty you have no idea what you're doing.

Maeby can lie her way in and out of any situation, even into have a job in the movie business. But lying can only get you so far.

9. Making mistakes.

George Michael Sr. has made some pretty big mistakes, but at least he left money in the banana stand...

10. Also there are those times you just want to cut loose.

Kitty is George Michael Sr.'s assistant, who gets a bit of a confidence boost and definitely know how to cut loose.

11. And sometimes we just want to be invisible.

Ann is George Michael's girlfriend who often gets forgotten about...well until she marries G.O.B.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
