On June 17, 2016, the Red Hot Chili Peppers released their 11th album, "The Getaway."
The well known band has been around for 33 years, and is still going strong. They are best known for their funky rock '90s hits, such as "Under the Bridge" and "Californication."
"The Getaway" contains the Chili Pepper's rap-rock style as well as Anthony Kiedus's dark romanticism of California. "The Getaway" has the Chili Pepper's funky vibes with a mellower tone.
The first single off the album was "Dark Necessities." The music video can be found here. This video will have fans laughing at the Chili Pepper's overall goofy demeanor. There are clips of Flea rocking out on the guitar while sitting in a sink.
Shortly before the album was released, James Corden featured the Red Hot Chili Peppers for his Carpool Karaoke segment. In the video, the band sings their biggest singles throughout the years and Anthony wrestles James.
