"Full House" was one of my favorite shows as a child next to "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Lizzie McGuire." It began in the fall of 1987, well before I was born, and ended in the spring of 1995. I watched these mostly as reruns when I was older. "Fuller House" is a spin-off of "Full House" with the same plot. D.J. is mother to three children and has two other women helping her raise them, Kimmy and Stephanie. If you're a fan of "Full House," "Fuller House" is a show you should take the time to watch.

Here are more reasons to watch it.

1. Nostalgic catchphrases

"You got it, dude."

Even though Mary-Kate and Ashley aren't in this show, in one of the trailers D.J., Kimmy and Stephanie call Michelle and say, "You got it, dude."

"Cut it out."

"Have mercy."

How rude!

2. They break the fourth wall.

You'll know it when you see it

3. They poke fun at Donald Trump.

I'm not going to give away the jokes in the first episode, but they exist! I'm also aware that the following GIF is a skit from Fallon and not the show.

4. Guest Stars

Everyone except for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen return. Jesse (John Stamos), Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Rebecca (Lori Loughlin), Steve (Scott Weinger), and the twins (Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit) are all guest stars on the show

5. Dancing

From Kimmy dancing Hammertime to a group dance, there's plenty in the first episode alone.

6. Singing

Be prepared for tears!

7. It's on Netflix.

That means it's time to make a date with your best friend (even if that's your bed), make some popcorn, and get ready to have an awesome night.

8. Single mom feels

D.J. Tanner has three boys and is raising them on her own since the passing of her husband. Stephanie gives up her world DJ tour to help out her sister. Kimmy and her daughter also move in to help out.

9. So much nostalgia

They live in the same house, D.J. has her old bedroom, the cast from Full House is still around, there are references to "Full House" and to movies and events that occurred while Full House was filming.

10. Puppies!

Comet had Comet Junior who had Comet Junior Junior, and now Comet Junior Junior is pregnant!

11. New talent

Kimmy's daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas), D.J.'s children, Max (Elias Harger), Jackson (Michael Campion), and Tommy (Dashiell and Fox Messitt) are all new to the scene as well as Comet Junior Junior and the puppies.

But don't take my word for it. Watch a trailer:

Watch it! You know you want to!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
