Majority of girls can have at least an hour long conversation about Pinterest. It is possibly one of the best apps that has been invented. There is an endless amount of ideas a person can find on Pinterest ranging from food, DIY projects, to planning your wedding. Pinterest has the ability to hold a person's attention span for several hours. Also, Pinterest gives a person the confidence to bake or make anything they see on there, not necessarily the best thing in the world.
1. The ability to make anything
Majority of the time when I get on Pinterest, I see a cute canvas to make and think to myself,"I can replicate this exact canvas." So then you go to Michael's to buy the canvas, paint and paint brushes to make this cute canvas. Then I think to myself, "Boy was I wrong about that idea". Then you also see this recipe to make these adorable bunnies out of rolls. That seems to be a fail as well. Some of these ideas that I have seen must have been done by professionals because quite a few of ideas I have seen seem to fail.
2. Capturing your time for hours
There are so many things to see when on PInterest. I am pretty sure, if you can think of it, it has to be on there. There is endless things to look up from what you need to make a certain recipe, a popular baby name, popular outfits for the summer, quotes from your favorite "Grey's Anatomy" episode to the best exercises for your waist. I believe that if you can think of something, you will find it plus 10 million other ideas to go along with it. I can sit on the couch looking at Pinterest for hours on end and leave the app on something completely different than what I originally got on there for.
3. Private boards
I am pretty sure that most women that have a Pinterest have a secret board dedicated to their dream wedding. I am not going to lie, I have a secret board from my dream gown to the location of the wedding. As young girls, we pretty much have dreamed of that special day and now we have the ability to look at ideas of what we want and "pin" them. Maybe even have a secret board for their future children. They can look up and dream how the room will look like, what the name will be, decorations for the room, etc. Pinterest has given people the option to dream for that special day in their life.
This popular app has given people so many ideas for almost anything you can think of. A person can basically find an idea for anything on here to kill time or make. I love Pinterest and hope that it is around for quite some time because it is a very helpful app for myself and probably many other people to use.
