6 Reasons I'm Voting For Kanye In 2020

He is the most “influential artist of our generation” as stated by himself.

Since Yeezus threw in his nomination for president, I have personally contemplated what it would be like for the first fashion designer, rapper and producer president… and I have came to the conclusion that it may be pretty fly. So, naturally I have analyzed the facts to present to my readers.

He knows everyone

Kanye West is universally popular. He literally knows everyone from major fashion designers to global leaders, and with that in sight, he can solve many issues the U.S. faces with other countries. For example, if the U.S. is having difficulty with France he can provide a free concert for French politicians as a gift, thus easing the tensions. He can also update his cabinet with some pretty great speakers, and, by speakers, I mean rappers. Picture Jay Z as Treasurer, ASAP Rocky for Head of Interior, Nicki Minaj as Security of Defense, and so forth. Since Jay Z is a multibillion dollar mogul I’m sure he can fix our trillion dollar debt. Plus, Nicki as head of the Department of Defense would be incredibly efficient. “What’s good (Insert country here)?” Any issues we would have would be solved A.S.A.P. (no pun intended.)

Fashion, art and music would be mandatory curricular

Since Kanye is “Dali”, “Warhol” and “Shakespeare in the Flesh”, I’m positive that the arts would be a key staple in the public school systems. Picture being able to develop and hone artistic talents from a young age. We, as a country, could develop the new Bach, the new Picasso or the new Saint Laurent. Our youth would be cultured, growing up learning about the finest composers, artists, designers and poets. The youth would also dress better seeing how they would be exposed to the works of fine designers. Students would be incredibly cultured, having a finer taste for literature as well.

No economic problems... ok maybe just a few

Yeezy is a businessman, who can sell products off the shelves. His recent shoe, the “Yeezy Boost” sold out of retailer Pasun’s website in minutes. Some of his rare shoes sell for hundreds of dollars on Ebay. My point is, he can use his business skills to help our economy.

He would win any political debate

Personally, I think Kanye is one of the greatest rappers. His lyrics are truly creative and smart. So, naturally he can school any one of his opponents during a debate. The multi-award winning rapper can outsmart an opponents jab within seconds, with a even better rebuttal or comment that could persuade a whole audience.

Kanye is unique

His name means “Only One” in Swahili and I’m pretty sure he is the only Kanye we know. He is an all over creative genius by passing the works of his rapper competitors. He doesn’t put up with any hate. He also stands up for what he believes in, making him a modern activist. And, maybe, that's just what America needs.

Lastly, a message to all the haters

To those who say that Kanye cannot become president due to his past actions, you fail to realize that Yeezy just like every great artist or innovator is misunderstood, just like Beethoven, Van Gough and Howard Hughes were.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
