In the summer, the hot spot is always the beach. It's an incredibly relaxing place to be, and is like a mini vacation! Here are some reasons I love the beach.
1. It is one of the most relaxing places in the world
Even when there are kids running around, as long as you have a towel and some headphones, you won't be able to hear them at all.
2. Its a great time to bond with friends
It really gives friends a chance to be together without any technology distractions.
3. Its the perfect place to nap
A day in the sun really drains people.
4. It's really fun to make sandcastles
Especially when you have sandcastle making contests with your friends and family.
5. The beach actually has good slushies
Unlike the ones from the machines at convenience stores.
6. Collecting shells is always so fun
Or finding out what creature is living in them!
7. It's the best place to be for when you get too hot
Because the water is right there and you can cool down quickly
8. Its a good opportunity to get some color
Nobody wants to be pasty white forever— but remember sunscreen!
