Tis' the season for tv premiers and spending most nights catching up with imaginary characters and obsessing over new plot lines. This is also around the time of year when I, and probably many others, start binge watching many shows. I have been spending most of my free time watching Criminal Minds. This show has kind of ruined my life not gonna lie. One character however, has stolen my heart with his smarts and awkwardness. Viewers have fallen in love with Dr. Spencer Reid from the beginning and the love only grows as the seasons progress.

*Spoilers for any one still on really early seasons*

1. His 187 IQ Score

He is absolutely brilliant. He is definitely the genius on the team. That's not surprising figuring he graduated high school when he was 13.

2. His Eidetic Memory

He remembers everything he reads and most things he hears. He has an endless amounts of facts and can probably ramble on just about anything.

3. He can read 20,000 words per minute

No one can read like he can. He can finish multiple books in one day with time to spare. His team likes to pass the readings of to him because of that. He also can read in many other languages.

4. His Awkwardness

He is rather adorable when he finds himself in social situations. He never manages to say the right thing. He does get better as the seasons go on however season one is pretty bad.

5. He is caring

Even though he can be awkward and it might take long for him to develop relationships he cares deeply for his family and his team. He would drop anything to help anyone he is close to.

6. His relationship with Morgan

Morgan and Reid have the perfect big brother/little brother relationship. Morgan likes to make fun of Reid a lot, but would do anything to protect him. Vice Versa. Now that Morgan is gone, it's gonna be interesting how Reid deals without him.

7. He is great with kids

His magic tricks (yes he does magic as well) is a hit among the kids of the BAU. Also, he is the God Father of Agent Jennifer Jareau, and has proven to fulfill that role.

8. He has been through so much but is still himself

Between bullying in school, his mom's schizophrenia, being tortured, addicted to drugs, and loosing people he loves almost constantly he is still able to do his job and build connections with others, which is no easy task.

Dr. Spencer Reid is someone that everyone wants to be best friends with, and also look up to him.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
