Everyone deserves to experience the joy of a furry best friend at least once in their life. There is no better companionship than that of a dog! Here you'll find a list of just a few of the many ways in which dogs are the very best.
1. Dogs are adorable.
Small dogs. Big dogs. Fluffy dogs. Chubby dogs. ALL dogs. If you don't agree that dogs are the cutest friends, then maybe you just haven't taken a good look at them. I mean how could you disagree with this little face?!
2. The loyalty of a dog is unmatched.
If you own a dog, you know exactly what I mean. Your dog is equally excited to see you whether you've been gone for 5 minutes or the whole day. No matter how good or bad your day has been, you can absolutely count on your dog waiting to happily greet you at home. 
3. Dogs are always willing to just come along for the ride. (Literally).
No matter what your plans are, your dog is happy to come along. As long as they can be right there by your side throughout whatever adventure, they are content. From being lazy and staying in bed all day to going on long walks outdoors. Even if your dog has extremely short legs and you end up carrying him most of the way (see image below).
4. They help you through difficult times.
Not only do dogs make you smile, but they hold the ability to pull you through some of the hardest times of your life. When I was first introduced to my little fur baby, I was going through a really dark time in my life. It was incredible how much joy this little tiny pup brought into my life. I can honestly say that my dog changed my entire life.
5. Dog cuddles are the best cuddles.
Cuddling is nice and all, but if you've never experienced snuggling up with furry friend, you are truly missing out. There's nothing in this world quite like it.
6. A dog's love is without limit.
Dogs do not judge you based on your past or present mistakes. They don't care what you look like or how you dress. It does not matter to them what color your skin is, what your political views are, or where you fall within society. Dogs simply love you for being you. In this way, I think we could all learn a little something from our furry friends.
Of all the friends in this world, the kind with four paws and a wagging tail has to be my favorite. A dog's love and loyalty just cannot be beat. It is my opinion that dogs make the world a much better place just by being in it.
