Childish Gambino is possibly one of the most versatile rappers in the industry, but oh, so slept on. From being a writer for "30 Rock," to playing Troy on "Community," he developed a large fan following before he even released his first EP and never fails to keep them guessing and entertained. Making the jump from television star to full on rap legend is a nerve racking one. One that he didn't take lightly, I might add. On the "Arsenio Hall Show," he makes it clear that reason he left "Community" was simply so that he would be able to pursue other projects.

When crafting his sophomore album, instead of going the usual release a single and music video route, he opted to turn the album into an experience. "Because the Internet" was paired with an interactive screenplay, while the album served as the movie's score.
