Let's face it as much as you want to be an independent college student, there will always be a time we need our parents. I know its hard to balance out our crazy schedules but a few minutes out of your day could really go a long way.They have been our support system our entire lives and will always be there to support you. They have molded you into the individual you are today and honestly we would be nowhere without them. Even if you're 10 miles or 1000 miles away, it's always nice to call your parents and show some love. Here are the reasons why:

1. They made you and had to deal with you your entire life, give them props its hard to raise a child.

2. As I said before they are always there for you and will probably be the only consistent people in your life.

3. They give great advice and always know what to say.They have been through it all and even if it's hard to admit they usually are right.

4. Admit it you miss them and they miss you.

5. It's always nice to have a reminder of home every once in a while.

6. Even if you make the biggest mistakes, your parents are the only people who will accept and love you.

7. They always want what's best for you. Parents want nothing more than to see you successful.

8. They love hearing from you and all that is happening in your life. No, they aren't nosey they just care.

9. You know you secretly love their corny jokes and they always make you smile on a bad day.

10. They know you better than anyone else.

11. They have given up everything for you.

12. Our parents work hard to support us and all our needs and dreams.

13. They listen to your stories and never get annoyed.

14. They're your number one fan.

15. They are your nurse, superhero and best friend.

I want to thank my parents for being my best friends and always being there to support my decisions. I was lucky to have to have them as my role models and come from such a great home life.
