'Narcos' is currently streaming on Netflix. It is based on the crime drug lord named Pablo Escobar and the DEA agent who is trying to arrest him. Currently, there are two seasons for the series. Each season has ten episodes. It is pretty easy to binge watch. I'm speaking from experience obviously. It's rated TV-MA. There is nudity and adult content. This isn't a family show, so don't watch it with them. There are subtitles when Spanish is being spoken. So here are the reasons to watch it. Spoilers may occur.
1. The characters
Pablo Escobar's character is complex. All he wants is to provide for his family. The actor that plays him is Wagner Moura.
Agent Steve Murphy goes through his own personal issues, but still tries to catch Escobar. Steve Murphy is portrayed by Boyd Holbrook.
Pedro Pascal, from Game of Thrones, depicts agent Pena. Agent Javier Pena takes matters into his own hands despite what others may think.
Tata Escobar is a "ride or die" kind of girl. She is dedicated to Pablo and her children. Tata is portrayed by Paulina Gaitan.
Gustavo Gaviria is the cousin and the man behind the finances. He's portrayed by Juan Pablo Raba.

3. You can learn some Spanish. There are subtitles!

4. The main guys in real life are attractive without the facial hair or in Wagner's case more facial hair.
