Mom's are a very important guide in life. Even if someone doesn't have a mom, they have someone who plays that role in their life and they will always need them. I will never understand how people can go through life and have nothing to do with their mom. A girl will always need her mom, no matter what age, and here's why:
1. She's my mom.
I often think she knows me better than I know myself. She can anticipate almost every move I make and guides me away from the ones that I make irrationally. She keeps me sane.
2. She is my knowledge.
A large majority of things I learned in life, I learned from her. I will always look for her advice, even when I'm old enough that I should know what to do. She has so much more experience in things than I do. I want everything I do in life to satisfy her, therefore I will use her knowledge all throughout my life.
3. She is my best friend.
My relationship with my mom is sacred. No matter what life throws at me, I have her. She is my go to person. I tell her everything. She glorifies all my accomplishments and even all of my failures. Life without her would be so awful. She picks me up when I'm down and knows exactly what to say to make everything better.
4. She will never leave me.
A mom's promise is to always care for her children and never leave them, and that's is exactly what my mom does. She is always by my side through trials and tribulations and is happy to be with me when I accomplish my goals and reach for my aspirations.
5. She is my guiding light.
She shows me the good path to take in life—what's right and wrong. She taught me to love others and love myself, but most importantly to put God first in life. She never led me astray and guides me back to the right path when I do. She will forever be my guidance.
Whether your "mom" is actually your dad or a cousin or just a friend, you're always going to need that person. Life is much better with them in it.
