I Really Hate College

Because college honestly sucks and no one wants to talk about it

I Really Hate College

Well I’ve been here for about a year now and I must say college is horrible. The long hours of studying, the mind boggling test, gee I don’t even know if I can make another two and half years of this. Why is this even a thing? College? You would think they would make it better since you cannot get a Big Girl/ Big Boy job without a degree. Actually, now a days you can barely get one with a degree. But you see the tests are awful, the degrees seem unattainable, and yet everyone seems to say these are the best days of our lives. The few reasons I absolutely hate college have to be the following:

I get to pick my own classes
God how awful. I get to choose when I have class, what they are, and even who I have them with. Also get this, I can take half of my classes online. Not only do I get to choose my classes based off of its convenience for me, I can also pick it based off the teacher. The classes are handpicked for me by me and honestly that is just awful. I mean really? I am how old, and I get the opportunity to pick what education I want and get? God please help me.

Freedom

Well I am off on my own no longer under my parent’s roof, I get free reign of the world. Want to take a road trip? I can. Want to sleep all day? I can do that too. I have no one to report to, not a single person to tell my day to, its honestly the worst. Please mom and dad come nag me about my unmade bed, and tell me I should be studying more and watching Netflix left, cause the world without rules is honestly horrifying me.

Friends

My high school friends and I have all chosen different paths and well as much as that is great, it forced us to replace each other with new people at school. Yeah ya know the people here are just awful, they are so funny, love adventures, and ugh get this, we like the same stuff. Who could bare that? They love late night excursions and they even like ½ apps and going for food at 2 am.

I guess its pretty obvious how much I really REALLY hate college. How much I dislike picking my own classes, having endless amounts of freedom, and oh yea how I have met some of the best people while I have been here at school. So yeah definitely don’t give college a chance if you don’t want to experience the best time of your life.
