If you're like me and you have watched the CW series Riverdale, then I'm sure you've wished at least once that you have friends like their cast in real life, and had a cool diner to hangout with them at 24/7. While I think this is an amazing show, and you will definitely not catch me missing the season 2 premier, I've noticed that people like these characters really do exist in real life. This doesn't just apply to Riverdale however, in any TV drama based around a group of teenagers. We all watch these shows wishing we had a friend group like them, when we probably already do. So without further ado, here is my explanations of Riverdale characters in real life.

Archie Andrews

Archie Andrews is your typical boy next door. The really popular, yet still very nice and friendly jock, who can play sports but also can be friends with anyone. Now lets take away the face of actor KJ Apa for a minute and think about just his character. I'm sure you can all at least name one guy you know who is this type of person. Very popular and nice to everyone, very talented, wether that is just in sports or in music or in painting or whatever it may be. Maybe you have never taken the time to actually sit down and get to know this individual, however we all know an Archie Andrews.

Betty Cooper

Betty I would say is the girl counterpart to Archie, so in other words this would be your typical girl next door. The very studious, kind of timid, but very focused girl. She would be the girl you may catch at a party once or twice, but not all of the time. The girl that listens to her parents and has lived a somewhat sheltered life, but still relates and can connect to other people. At the end of the day this is the girl who just wants to always do the right thing and help everyone. Now I can pinpoint the exact person who pops into my mind when describing Betty. I would be willing to bet that you can too. Perhaps though you never wanted to talk to this girl because you thought she was a "goody two shoes" or a "prude". However we all know this girl, wether take the time to reciprocate her kindness or not.

Veronica Lodge

Ahhh Veronica. Wether you loved her or hated her, you know you all wanted her style. This would be your typical popular girl. The cheerleader, the one who always looks perfect no matter what, the one that can lean towards the bitchy side at times, but everyone envies her anyways, the one who's parents pay for everything, and who gets whatever she wants. Now wether or not you have ever watched this show, I know we all knew this girl in high school. Maybe you were friends with her, maybe you hated her, maybe you were her, all I know is she was there. However no, she probably didn't have as much of a good side as Veronica is depicted to have throughout this show, unfortunately.

Jughead Jones

Now this may be the one character that bothers me the most from this show. Now I will admit, I, like I'm sure plenty of other girls out there, definitely had the biggest crush on Jughead. However, we all know a Jughead. That guy that's kind of gross, who wears the same thing everyday, who doesn't talk to anyone, always wears black, and is kind of just depressing. Yet when we meet these guys we label them as weird, and socially awkward. We never really take the chance to get to know where they come from, or why they are the way they are, we just judge them. Yet when Cole Spouse is depicting this type of guy we all swoon for him, simply because "OMG IT'S COLE SPROUSE." I hate to break it to you guys, but most guys like Jugheads character actually wear the same thing all the time because they can't afford all that much, they don't have make up artists and hair dressers perfectly dressing them and giving them that "attractive edgy" look. I will say this though, if you can get past their appearance or labels others have posted on these guys, they're just as funny as nice and caring and cute as Jughead Jones is in Riverdale.

So stop sitting around hoping for friends like your favorite characters, and go out and find them! They are real and they do exist, you just have to be willing to reach out and not judge them.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
