A series of college students from different colleges have been asked the same question... What have you learned from your time in college so far?
Here's what they said...
1."Standard cafeteria food at college contains laxatives to help students get over their fear of using communal bathrooms."
Every college student who has eaten at a dining hall has had some kind of thought about there being laxatives in their food.....
2. "If tomorrow isn't the DUE date, then today isn't the DO date."
Ah, the art of procrastination... every college students superpower!
3. "Cases of water are a must!"
I am not sure why this is a must but IT IS A MUST! Anything less than a case of water won't last you very long in college.
4. "I'm actually dumb."
College is where you realize a question as simple as 2 + 2 actually has 17 different answers
5. "Free time in college is actually not free time."
There is always something to be done in college... ALWAYS!
6. "Time management."
Between going out, sleeping, class, and homework... college really does teach you time management and to prioritize.
6. " When you don't go out... you either stuff your face or starve yourself... no in between."
For some odd reason... this is very true. College students will either eat their entire pantry or starve themselves until the next day.
7. "TEXTBOOKS ARE USELESS."
I have yet to use a single textbook I just HAD to buy for class...
8. " People I knew for 3 weeks cared more about me than people I knew for 4 years."
Every college student learns this and if you think otherwise your lying to yourself.
9. " How to act sober when being extremely drunk."
A true life skill that college teaches you... indeed.
10. "You learn not to care about what people think of you."
College students see strange things every day, you learn to truly not care one bit about what others think.
11. "Drugs are fun."
Adderall and Ibuprofen are our friends!!!
