As children you have a brilliant imagination and look at the world as if there was no danger around; oblivious to all of the pain and struggle the world has. As you grow up some people lose their imaginations and grow hardened as they see and experience the pain and struggle of the world. With reading you can once again be transformed into a child and forget all about the pain and struggles of the world! It is time to dive right into a good book!

1. It allows for you to escape into another world.

2. You learn how to be creative and use your imagination.


3. Helps you relax and forgot about the issues of the world.

4. Helps you learn another language.

You can read famous books in another language to practice the language.

5. Again it allows for you to escape reality for a bit.

6. You can read anywhere you have a book.

7. It is a passion that you will never forget.


8. You can pick up reading anytime in your life.

9. There is something for everyone.

You like video games? You can find a book! You like adventure? You can find a book! You like romance? You can find a books!

10. Books are amazing!

You can escape your world, learn how to worry less, educate yourself on a new topic, and understands other people's perspective on issues that concern you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
