Ahh, Granville. Quaint college town, adorned with parks, churches, and literally just one block of businesses. However, if you do it right, one block of businesses is all you need. If you’re new to the scene and have not yet figured out for yourself the ins and outs of the village, I have taken it upon myself to provide you with a little shortcut. Don’t worry, I am an expert, so without further ado...a ranking of bars in Granville (all four of them):
4. The Granville Inn
3. The Buxton Inn
Broadway has some serious potential, especially now that they have expanded. I found myself in there one night while trying to avoid a line at Moe’s and was delighted to discover that a whiskey sour was almost a dollar cheaper. However, even with the expansion, I feel that the elongated bar does not lend itself well to socialization. Plus, I somehow always feel like I’m intruding on the members of town when I go in there. Broadway is perhaps a nice stop during your evening, but not where you’d want to end the night.
