With Halloween being next weekend, most people are scrambling to find a costume. It is important that you find a perfect balance for your costume, whether you are going as scary, funny, sexy or creative. Hopefully this list will give you a better idea of what costume to wear or what NOT to wear.
10. Clown
Never have I ever seen a good clown costume. With all the colors and tons of face paint, they are either really creepy or just weird. "Wow, look at that awesome clown costume" -said no one, EVER
9. Mummy
It looks like you wasted a bunch of toilet paper on pretending to be a dead person. Not a good look wherever you may be going on Halloween.
8. Animal (cat, dog, ladybug etc.)
Can you say overdone? I think I have been a cat for at least 3 Halloweens because I forgot about it. Granted, it is such an easy costume but ZERO points for creativity, unless you have really cool makeup then this is a totally acceptable costume.
7. Anything from the workforce (policeman/woman, firefighter, nurse etc.)
These costumes almost always miss the mark. Granted, if you don't see at lease one "nurse" walking around on Halloween was it a real Halloween? Over-sexualized, overdone, and just over it.
6. Skeleton
I never really see that many skeletons around Halloween so this is a good last minute go-to. It combines the right amounts of creepy but cool. You can definitely miss the mark on this costume so be careful when finding your costume. You DEFINITELY don't want people to not know what you are.
5. Witch
This costume can be done in a lot of different ways WITCH is why it deserves #5. Granted, it has been done a lot but whenever the Halloween season rolls around and Hocus Pocus is on, you just can't help thinking about how cool it would be to be a witch for a night.
4. Superhero
Dressing up as a fictional hero is pretty cool. Not to mention there are SO many you can choose from! Finally you can grab a group of friends and all go as Marvel characters or a significant other and be a duo. So choose a hero and save the world.
3. Risky business
Yes I know this costume is basic but come on, its so great. Its so cheap and can be easily done by raiding your guy friends closet and finding high socks. Cheap + easy + can be done in a group = great costume.
2. Ghost
Yes this costumes just consists of throwing a sheet over your head but I think it is so great. It adds humor with mystery making a foolproof Halloween costume. If you want an A+ on Halloween, you can never lose being a ghost.
1. Food items
Lets just talk about how HAPPY these people look while wearing these costumes. The chili pepper guy is so hype and the cupcake knows that she has the best costume at the party. All I am saying is if you want to be happy and be everyone's favorite costume on Halloween, go as food.
