I love when I am scrolling through Pinterest or Facebook and find an inspiring quote. Some quotes are so well-written or poetically said that they just stick out and encourage you. Here are some of my all time favorite quotes!

1)"Preach the Gospel always. When necessary, use words." - St. Francis of Assisi

This quote resonates with me because I went to a Franciscan high school, so I am versed in the life, words and actions of St. Francis. Even if you are not religious, this quote can still apply to you. St. Francis is saying to spread love and kindness through your actions; instead of leading by words, lead by example.

2)"We don't meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our path for a reason." - Unknown

I love this quote because it is so true. Looking back on my 18 years, I know that certain people were meant to be in my life and impact me when they did. People come and go, but the love they give you and lessons they teach you will stay with you.

3)"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." - Maya Angelou

This is a beautiful quote that makes you reflect on your life. Are you letting life pass you by or are you living and experiencing moments which take your breath away?

This is one of the most inspiring quotes I have ever read. Sometimes we feel like we are in a constant state of confusion, but when you look back and reflect, those are some of the most special moments.

Dream big, work hard and do not give up on your dream in order to fulfill a life that society approves of. You will never be happy with your life if you settle for a life filled with routines which do not include your passions and talents.

Even though this is a quote from a character from Glee, it is still very relevant. I have been a part of many casts, teams and classes which are so special to me. Because you are a piece of the whole, you are also special.

7)"And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good." -John Steinbeck

We always feel this intense pressure to be perfect people who do not make mistakes and have everything in our lives figured out. This quote suggests that once you let go of the facade of perfection then you can strive to be good in all aspects of life.

8)"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss

This famous quote by Dr. Seuss reminds us that we should not deviate from who we truly are to impress others because the people who should be in our lives will accept us for who we really are, the good and bad sides.

This quote is from the show Gilmore Girls, but it stuck out the second I heard it. Life goes so quickly, we should take risks, chances and opportunities even when they are daunting and scary. That is how we will make the most of the short time we are given.

10)"The things you are passionate about are not random, they are your calling." - F. Fredrickson

Everyone has their own interests and passions. These should lead you to your career and they should influence your life choices, because they are what you were meant to pursue.
