6 Inspiration Quotes For Going Back To School
Corine Domingo

Many people are excited about going back to school and many of us need some inspiration to be excited. Some things that work for me to be excited about going back to school is back to school shopping! It's probably the best part of August! Yet for most people, even shopping won't get them excited because all they're fearing are more exam days, more homework and more stress. Doing other exciting things like dorm shopping and doing cute and easy back to school DIYs might get your mind of those but for now, read these six quotes to inspire you to be excited for this back to school season and the start of the new year right:

1. "Just believe in yourself. Even if you don’t, pretend that you do and, at some point, you will." – Venus Williams

Fake it till you make it. This is for those nights when you stay up studying for a test and when you're about to take it you doubt yourself. Trust yourself and believe in yourself. Don't think negatively!

2. "I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy. I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it." - Art Williams

School, whether you're freshmen in high school or freshmen in college will be hard for most people. A new year brings new challenges but at the end, all the struggles you'll go through will be all worth it at the end of your education career.

3. “You can never be overdressed or overeducated.” -Oscar Wilde

This is for the people that love dressing up for class and the people that may want to learn way more than they are taught. If you think waking up early and dressing up will help you have a better day and learn better than you should do it! Who cares what others think. If you think you need to go over your notes when you wake up and before you sleep or want to do anything extra for your classes, you're not a “nerd”, you love to learn and that's okay.

4. “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.” -Malcolm X

Don't slack off your work just because you think it's not too serious. Once you get off your schedule then it gets harder to get back on it the more you push it off. Try to stay organized and be well prepared because whatever you do today, will help you tomorrow.

5. Sometimes you have to do what you don't love, so you can do what you love - Unknown

This is for people who complain about taking basic/general classes we all have to take to get to the harder stuff. I know it's frustrating to take math or history classes when don't need it for your future career but it's just something you have to do. Once it's over, you won't even remember or care you had to take those classes!

6. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams". - Eleanor Roosevelt

I totally agree with this! If you believe in what you do, you'll get there eventually. Maybe not how you planned but things find their way. It's good to have big dreams so don't be scared of them.

Heading back to school is a stressful time because there are lots of things to do. Easing your mind and reminding yourself that you'll be okay will help your transition. Gaining some inspiration helps you understand why you're doing it in the first place (it's worth a shot, right). How are you getting ready to head back to school?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
