She told me to look for a flickering light. I was looking at a dark screen with this olive sized form in the middle. It was the little flickering light on that form that was a total game changer. Every feeling I have had for years had created a new reality. The passion I had was nothing compared to this moment. The hair grew on the back of my neck, tears rolled down my face. It was real. Beating at 163 beats per minutes, that flickering light was an unborn baby's heart. That form on the screen was the most beautiful example of life.

Every year in this country, over 1.2 million heartbeats are stopped. Just like the realness in that heartbeat, the word abortion is just as real. Abortion is responsible for 1 in 4 deaths for babies in the United States. This word people seem to make hidden. It is tried to not be spoken of or made excuses for. It makes many people feel uncomfortable. Many people believe it is too harsh of a subject to talk about. Many are not completely educated in the word "Pro-Choice". Society tries to sweep this act under the rug or try to put it under the column of women's rights.

There are people like me. The people who look past the selfishness. People who realize that there is a heartbeat in that mothers womb. There are brainwaves and a nervous system. There are feet, toes, fingers, eyes, flesh and a future. Every unborn baby is just another story untold. A future that has only begun. I am here to fight for what many people ignore. I am here to show what is unseen.

Many people choose to be Pro-Choice on the fact of getting pregnant through rape or incest. But the truth is, that case is very rare. Yes it happens, but it is only one percent of all cases of abortions. Over 74 percent of women chose abortion for the fact that a baby would change their lives too much. They have so much going for them and a baby was never in the plan. Others list that babies are too expensive or that they don't want to raise a baby on their own.

Here is the hard truth. You can give any excuse in the world, but a persons reason for an abortion does not change the fact they are killing their baby. With the technology that modern medicine has created in today's society, a baby can live at 22 weeks. Babies can also be legally killed at 26 weeks. I just read an article that three days ago. A father killed his one month old baby. He was charged with first degree murder. Fitting right? What I don't understand is that society allows the death of babies at 26 weeks, that is 6.5 weeks in the womb. That is only around 4 months difference in the baby being murdered at one month and a baby murdered in the womb. Not only that, but our nation is allowing 125,000 murders to happen legally everyday. It is happening 1.2 million times annually. People support this. Presidents fight for this act. It is on T.V. shows everyday. It is looked at as a part of life. Which is so ironic because its ending lives.

Excuses are excuses for a reason. Excuses are made when only feels guilty, or when needing to prove something that is wrong. If these babies are going to continue to be killed, lets at least man up to our decisions as a society and drag our act out from under the rug. If we support this act, then why hide it? Why feel so uncomfortable talking about it? If you feel that this article is too harsh, you should see the actions taking place in abortion clinics. You should see the sneaky, cruel and cold hearted things Planned Parenthood has done to the unborn and to our women in this nation. You should hear the lies that have now been uncovered.

As hard as it may seem to talk about this discussion, it cant be hidden. If people like me refuse to share what we know, then that is more lives being taken away before they even get a chance at life. These most innocent beings on this earth. The most beautiful part of this worlds future, and yet we chose to not care enough.

I know for a fact that am not the only one on this earth that feels this way. Every year there are approximately 2 million couples in the United States that are wanting to adopt. People who would give anything in the world to have a baby of their own, but cannot. It is people like them who are continuing to fight. Non-Profit Pro-life organizations spread out across the U.S are fighting. Christians are standing up daily, churches and doctors are supporting and giving to help the fight. I am speaking on behalf of these people. Most importantly I am speaking for the 58 million graves and for the graves to come. I am speaking for the babies that have the right to live the life that God has blessed them with. If society believes that murder is not okay, then they shouldn't make excuses.

I am ready for for this world to go from Pro-Choice to One Choice. Our world is too weak and too messed up to be losing miracles. Quit being selfish and start allowing miracles to happen. Start allowing more stories to be told. Let more heartbeats continue to actually beat.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
