Around the world, politics are such a complex topic to discuss, whether it ranges from simple straightforward conversation, or actual analysis of the entire political framework. In current times, not talking about politics is a little concerning; especially, when the future of the United States is in question. When the time to choose a new presidential candidate comes around, discussion becomes very critical because the participating voters want to know what outcome will come from their support of one of the candidates. It is around this time that I began to witness the true nature of American political controversy, and how cut-throat supporters become to win people over for their cause. It may be true that opinions will be formed and supported in this article, but they are not meant to target any political agenda or theme in modern day conversation. This is why, please be advised, this article is not meant to critique or take a stand against any form of current political issue—instead it is simply meant to express a different view of how politics work and function.
As we all know, Donald Trump, one of the Republican candidates for presidency has gained much popularity since the beginning of his campaign. Some may argue that it is the public’s fault for giving him such popularity by retweeting and sharing many posts that are meant to hinder his legibility; in this way we’re further spreading his ideals to potential voters that could agree with him. One candidate is the focus of criticism, while the other is the focus of scandal; Hillary Clinton and her various discrepancies regarding her political morality. When you actually think about it, Bernie has gained a lot of support throughout his campaign, either because many Americans are realizing he has true intentions; or they prefer him to the other two main runners. Regardless of reason, politics does not stop. There will always be the individual, or group, supporters that either persevere through political issues, or help further add to its flame. The reason I focus in on Bernie, Hillary, and Donald is because they are the three most viable candidates. Bernie for his true intentions and “feel the Bern” motto, Hillary for her years of experience, and Donald for his outrageous ideas to “make American great again.”
In the end, it will come down to American voters: are we going to vote in respect to the future of the country, or by the bias we have obtained from each of these three candidates. Politics will always be present, whether it gains or loses popularity with the voting youth is what fuels the battlefield of criticism.
