This is a super simple makeup tutorial for those of you who need something simple to do when you are on the run! If you are like me, you probably need to leave the house with a little something on so you do not look like a total zombie! I actually tested this look out when I went on my one-mile run today and luckily nothing smudged off! So, lets get started!

1. First thing first, you should wash and exfoliate your face. I use this face scrub every other day for a good cleanse in the morning. Otherwise, I stick to good old face wash! For this looks' sake, you want to remove any excess oils and dirt.

You can find this awesome scrub at Lush Cosmetics. The online retail price is $21, but you can buy a smaller size for a decent price.

2. Next, I like to use my green tea toner from the Body Shop. It really cleans out the pores and it is really good for those that have red skin spots.

You can find this bad boy at Ulta for just $12.99 and sometimes it is even on sale!

3. While I let that soak in, I like to prime my eye lids with the Urban Decay Primer Potion. This is literally the best thing I have ever owned when it comes to makeup!

You can find this at Ulta for around $12.

4. Next, I apply a good moisturizer. Any will do, but the one below is what I use.

This can be found at any drug store, I usually buy mine from Harmon Discount.

5. Next I like to prime my face with the NYX Photo Primer and then I add my foundation called Stay Matte Not Flat from NYX as well.

The cost for the primer is $12.99, but I would compare it to the Smashbox primer. The foundation costs $7.99 and has the exact same quality as MAC's liquid foundation!

6. For the eye shadow, I like to go in with a taupe-brown. I use the Wet n' Wild in the shade Nutty.

You can find this at any drug store for just under $2. By the way, this is the dupe for MAC's shade in Patina.

7. From the crease to the brow bone I like to use a neutral shade. I use either one that is found in the Urban Decay Naked Palette.

This is such a great palette and it is perfect in size. You can find this in both Ulta and Sephora for $20.

8. Lastly, I apply my favorite mascara from Maybelline in blackest black.

You can find this in Target for under $8. I have been using this one for years!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
