With summer comes packed airports and dream vacations. You've found your pet sitters, packed your bags, and taken the time off work. The day has finally come and you arrive at the airport to begin your journey. As you wait in the airport for your long-awaited flight, your mind is full of questions and worries. Here is a list of the questions we all ask our self as we wait to get away:

1. Did I do everything I needed to?

Pack everything? What if I forgot something?!? Even though you've checked your bags thoroughly in the middle of the airport and asked yourself this for the millionth time you can't help but look. And once again you're reminded that there's nothing you forgot. This will reassure you until 10 minutes later when you're repeating the whole process again.

2. What do you mean the security has been upped?

You're relaxing in the airport when over the loudspeaker you're informed that the security has been upped and the items you're allowed to carry through security is now limited. In your mind your saying yourself: "So I'm gonna die here? Because that's what I'm hearing." All I hear when they inform the awaiting passengers that the airport is currently under a higher level of security is that there's a CURRENT THREAT. Nothing ever happens but it doesn't mean my worrying goes away.

3. What if they lose my luggage?

What will I wear?!? I can't replace my stuff, they're all irreplaceable. Think of all we've been through together! I hope I labeled my luggage correctly! Handing my belongings over at the check in desk is one of the biggest trust exercises you'll ever partake in.

4. Is there a *insert name of popular food place* here?

Even though we all know the answer is yes, they have our McDonald's or Starbucks waiting to take our money, we can't help but ask. We find the airport map and discover that yes, the airport does indeed offer what we desire.

5. Am I at the right gate?

As you look at the clearly displayed flight number that continually proves to match your boarding pass this question pops into your mind. It won't matter how many times the screen correctly displays your flight, you'll never feel completely reassured.

6. Did I forget anything?

Yeah, my memory apparently.

7. Is it safe to sleep?

Especially during those early morning or late night flights when you're just dreaming of boarding so you can hopefully catch a couple hours of shuteye. No matter how tired you are visions of waking up to all your stuff being gone provides you with that motivation to keep your eyes open.

You hear over the loud speaker that it's time to board and make you're way on to your flight. We've survived all the questions, have found our seat on the plane, placed our luggage in it's correct place, and are buckling up. There's no more questions to ask, it's time to just relax because we now know that if even we did forget something we either don't need it or will just figure it out once we land. You stare ahead as the captain announces its time to leave. You smile, and then it hits you. The last question we all find ourselves asking: IS THIS IS HOW I'M GOING TO DIE!?!?!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
