To The Person Who Is Struggling To Put Jesus First Ask Him For The Grace To Reveal Who He Is To You

Life gets busy, life gets hard. Everything hits you like a huge sack of bricks and you have no time to give to Jesus, yet you want to. And the people in your life aren't helping either, because either they're all "too busy" as well, or they don't believe in Jesus the way you do. I get it, I get you, the struggle is real, but the solution is not impossible.

If you are struggling to put Jesus first in your life, you are not alone. If you are struggling to put Jesus first in your life, get to know Him more by reading the Bible, reading Daily Devotionals, praying in the morning and praying at night before going to bed, anything that brings you closer to Him. Sometimes I feel "too busy" to spend at least 30 minutes to an hour of my day talking to Jesus and only Him.

But, how can I be "too busy" for Him?

I could wake up an hour earlier than usual, I could set a to-do list with specific times and fit it in, I could even set a specific time each day to give to Him. Why? Because He wants to talk to us, He wants to hear our voice and hear what we have to say to Him from our hearts. He wants all of us, our whole day, our thoughts and feelings, everything. He knows everything about us way more than we know ourselves, He created us and crafted us carefully in our mothers' wombs. There is no fault in trusting Him with our time and our lives, so why not give at least some part of your day to Him?

He gave everything up for you just so you could live abundantly. Wouldn't you want to give Him all of yourself as well? This is The One who thought of YOU when He sacrificed His life for you and your sins by dying on the Cross. This Man went through so much pain and suffering for YOU, and He's not first in your life? Trust me, I have learned this from experience, and if Jesus isn't first in your life, your life will suck.

I cannot even express how much I love God and how much He has done for me. If you are struggling to put Him first in your life, then simply start off by praying to Him and asking Him how you can start putting Him first, slowly but surely. Start off by talking to Him for 5 minutes a day, then 10 minutes the next day, then 15 minutes the day after that, and so on and so forth.

I am not kidding you, Jesus can -- no, WILL -- change your life once you start putting Him first. Give Him back the agape love that He is blessing you with. He will start blessing your life in unimaginable ways. You will feel so much joy and contentment, and you will feel fulfilled.

But you have to put Him first, it cannot be half-hearted, it has to be all of you. If you don't believe me, then try it for yourself. If that seems like too much, that's okay, just take your time. It is a process. As mentioned earlier, take a few minutes a day, and then build on it.

We are human, we have busy lives, sometimes we feel like we don't feel His presence. He is always there, and you can pray anywhere, anytime. If you are a person who is struggling to even believe in Jesus and want to truly believe in Him, ask Him for the grace to reveal Who He is to you and ask Him for the grace to work in your life.

Trust me, putting God first in your life makes for a happy and abundant life. I am not saying it will lead to a perfect life simply because no one has a perfect life, but He does set everything straight, eventually in His will and for your favor.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
