Halloween is quickly approaching, and like every year, people are always going to struggle to think of the perfect costume. These costumes are perfect for the "punny" person in your friend group.

1. Pear of Pants

So you get a pear costume and put a bunch of pants on it. That's all.

2. Babe Lincoln

This one could work for a guy or girl. You dress up as Abe Lincoln, just a little more scandalous. Bonus points if you have Mary Babe Lincoln and Babe Wilkes Booth as well.

3. Peanut Butter and Jam

A jar of peanut butter playing the guitar. In this case, the guitar represents jam. Get it? You could even make this a group thing with various instruments.

4. Candy Rapper

This one is a classic, but it is easy to make. You dress up as a rapper and cover yourself in candy wrappers. It's simple enough.

5. Water Bottle Trick Shot

You need to be talented to pull this one off. Be a water bottle and do some flips or other tricks.

6. Forrest Trump

So, you make yourself look like Donald Trump, but you have a Bubba Gump hat and talk like Forrest Gump.

7. The Spice Girls

Plan a group costume with your girls and dress up as spices! Match them to your personalities to make it even better.

8. Ceiling Fan

Dress up like one of those crazy fans you see at football games, but plot twist... your shirt just says ceiling.

9. Cereal Killer

Dress up as a murderer in any way that you want, but add some cereal boxes and a spoon to your costume. Make sure to have a piece of all your victims.

10. Doctor Pepper

This one also allows some freedom with how to personalize the costume. You can either be a doctor with the name "Pepper" on your nametag, or you could get a pepper costume and add a lab coat, stethoscope, and surgical mask. It all depends on who you are going to be around when you are in costume.

11. Nickelback

This one is probably the cheapest to make. Just get a plain t-shirt and stick some nickels on the back. Put that change to good use.

12. Identity Thief

Look like some kind of burglar and cover yourself with those "Hello, my name is" nametags.

13. Assault and Battery

A great couples costume. One of you is a container of salt, and another is a battery.

14. Holy Cow! Holy Guacamole!

Another costume with options! Take your favorite "Holy _____" saying and combine the physical aspects of it with some angel wings and a halo!

Many of these were found on the internet and I picked my favorites.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
