I still can’t believe that you finally graduated from high school. I know that it feels like forever, but trust me, now is when life starts to really fly by. It feels like only yesterday that I was in Kindergarten, and here I am, in college. Or even when we were in second grade, and you would accidentally step on my hair! I am so proud of you taking the next step in your life, and I will always be behind your decisions. Thank you for going into the army, and for representing our country. You are going to be amazing, I know it!
It does make me a little sad when I think about you leaving, but it is okay. We have such an awesome friendship, I know it will withstand anything. You mean so much to me, Stormy, and I want you to know that! Nothing makes me smile more than when we are able to go around town together, or even stay in and watch an episode of Law and Order:SVU or Friends. I will definitely miss that when you leave, but hey, that just means we have a lot to watch when you come back!
We have definitely been through a lot in your four years of high school. We first got really close my sophomore year, which was when I introduced you to Sailor Moon. We bonded over my lame insults, band, and hot chocolate. We didn’t talk as much my Junior or Senior year, but you were always there for me. You had such a huge impact on me, and I am glad you did. When your senior year rolled around we got close again, and you always were there for me on my San Angelo visits. I always looked forward to spending time with you and Emily, because we always have the best fun.
I couldn’t imagine life without you, really. You are such an amazing best friend, with the best spirit. I was blessed to have you and Elizabeth in my life! I know things can get a little rough, since that is life. Just know that I am only a phone call or a text away! I will always be there to give you advice, or try and help you through a problem. Heck, you were there for me when I wanted to change majors, when I decided to transfer to ASU, and anything I can think of! You have such a kind heart, you really do.
I love you more than Joey loves food, and you will always be the Phoebe to my Rachel! We have the best adventures when we are together! Like our late night Albertson’s runs, or going to gas stations! Playing video games with you is so much fun, because you put up with my competitive self!
Above all else, know that no matter what, we will be best friends. If you ever feel alone, sad, scared, happy, excited, or anything else, know that I will be right beside you. You can get through anything because of your strength! Love you so much, and congratulations! You have amazing things ahead!
