Being a night owl is kind of awesome: You get to stay up as late as you want and do whatever, and no one is really bugging you because they're all sleeping. But being a night owl comes with some downsides such as sleeping the entire day away and missing all of the fun. But who needs social interaction anyway? I have TV, social media and all of the pillows. Get at me.
Pro: It’s dark, which is great for watching TV. It’s like HD.
Con: It’s dark, so if you need to get up there's a good chance you’re going to stub your toe or bang your shin into something.
Pro: You get to stay up until the wee hours doing whatever you want. No judgment.
Con: You end up sleeping most of the day away. Much judgment.
Pro: If you don’t have school or work the next day, you can stay up as late. No parents; no bedtime!
Con: If you have school or work the next day, you’re screwed. Nine out of 10 times, you mess up your sleep schedule for the next year-and-a-half. Oops.
Pro: Everything is quiet.
Con: Everything is quiet.
Pro: Not getting out of bed until 4 p.m.
Con: Dinner is in two hours, and all you really want is pancakes.
Pro: Because you’re used to staying in bed until four, you can sleep through anything.
Con: Even the 17 alarms you set to wake up the next morning.
Pro: Binge watching eight episodes of your favorite show without interruption.
Con: Getting hungry during episode three and not being able to make food because everyone else is sleeping.
Pro: Getting all cozy in bed.
Con: Having to pee.
Pro: Catching up on all your shows.
Con: Not being able to go to sleep because they were too scary. You can't go to sleep because it's dark, and all the monsters will come out and kill you.
Embrace your inner night owl self. Who needs sleep anyways? Fight the monsters.
