The Age Progression Of Having A Little Brother
Funny And

For those of you that have a little brother, we all know it can be the best thing in the world at times and the worst thing in the world the very next day. They are there to do every little thing to annoy us and get on our nerves and let's face it, they usually do a pretty darn good job of it. But other days they are looking up to us as their role model and making us proud.

When your little brother is....

1. Ages 0-2:

This is the stage when your little brother is so cute and you get to hold them and act like an adult, but then you realize they are stealing all of the attention, so you have a little hatred toward them. But then you look at that cute face and just appreciate them for being so cute.

2. Ages 3-6:

This next stage is when they are now walking and talking. You have fun dressing them up and painting their nails, even though dad gets mad about that. Basically you are in charge of them and they have no say so you really are loving this little brother thing now!

I mean how could it go wrong?

3. Ages 7-10:

At this point they are someone to play with all the time! Yeah, you fight from time to time, but playing tag and building snowmen together helps you get over those fights much faster!

They are unfortunately the first person to go tattletale to mom and dad when you are bossing them around, but you get over it when it's time to go kick the soccer ball around!

4. Ages 11-14:

At this point in both of your lives your little brother still wants you to play games with them, but you are too old for that now and think they are a little kid. And what's more lame than hanging out with your little brother? You fight some more now because of that, but it's okay because you can easily beat up your little brother with no problem.

5. Ages 15-18:

In this stage you ask yourself everyday, "you are my little brother?!" Literally 99% of people think he is older than you. And remember how you said you could easily still beat him up? HAH. You don’t mess with your little brother anymore, because that's the only way to keep your dignity. However, you may not be living at home anymore and he’s home alone meaning that you are starting to get much closer. But obviously you still fight whenever you are back at home together.

6. 19 and up:

Well although I personally have not experienced this stage yet, I have high hopes for being best friends at this point. We will have all of our differences settled but one thing is for sure, he may look older than me, but he will always be my little baby brother that I watched grow up from day one.

Overall, I wouldn’t want it any other way. Even though little brothers are a pain in the butt, they are a best friend that is there throughout your childhood and well, growing up.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
