ENGLISH:
Clermont-Ferrand: Possibly the wittiest professor out there. She is amazing at explaining concepts, randomly shows the Panda Cam, and always gives out the best assignments.
Flood: This man really knows his stuff. He’s beyond funny and makes the assignments really interesting, especially in the course Introduction to Creative Writing.
Donaghy: Has a lot of work published, definitely knows what he’s talking about, lectures a lot and has some class discussions, best in his poetry class
ART:
Chen: A new professor to Eastern, teaches a digital art design course which is extremely interesting, he is very nice and gives good feedback.
Hebert: Very encouraging, helps you improve and praises your work, he tells cool stories and is pretty laid back.
Greene: Professor is very considerate and grades based on the effort you put in, is helpful in teaching technique, and is lenient on what projects everyone wanted to do.
SCIENCES:
Idjadi: Really into his subject, makes cool raps about coral reefs and what not, funny and super nice, and his assignments are interesting and simple.
Pazameta: He lectures the entire time, is a nice, cool man, and doesn’t have an attendance policy. Plus, he teaches astronomy which is pretty dope.
Lucin: This professor is quirky in a great way, very nice and relatively new to Eastern. He’s best when teaching Human Biology.
BUSINESS:
Bucci: Is hilarious, a fairly easy grader, shows funny videos all the time, and is pretty damn sassy in the best way possible.
Plesha: She has a thick Ukranian accent and many degrees. She is very knowledgeable in her field, pushes her students to always do their best, and is constantly positive and available.
Erwin: This professor is super funny and pretty easy. Always very genuine and kind, and will always remember your name!
COMMUNICATIONS:
Toles-Patkin: Really funny, great teaching techniques, and an easy grader. Assignments are always interesting. Only thing is that her classes, specifically Persuasion, close up fast.
Chibeau: His work is easy, and his assignments are fairly interesting. Attendance is always mandatory for his classes.
Beltran: This man knows a multitude of knows famous people like Hillary Clinton and Ralph Lauren, has a lot of (interesting) experience, it’s always fun to be in because he tells cool stories.
Sellers: Not only will she constantly give you free food, but also she has the BEST southern accent, is so understanding with her students, and doesn’t believe in exams.
Moorehead: She is always very helpful and really knows how to manage class time well, especially if it’s one of those three-hour courses. Also, she’s a pretty easy grader!
Koirala: A well-rounded professor with a lot of experience, he is very cultured and knows his stuff. Also, very kind and understanding.
MATH:
Dale: Very understanding to those who struggle with math, is always available to help, very generous. She usually teaches Statistics and Algebra.
O’Sullivan: She is caring and organizes her agenda well during class. She explains problems well, and exams are usually pretty easy.
Jaros: This professor is helpful, and she gives you plenty of similar review problems before an exam so that you are prepared. Overall, an easy professor.
HISTORY:
Mendoza-Botelho: He’s very funny, nice, witty, engaging with the class, creates a lot of class discussion using relatable topics.
Davis: Randomly speaks in Chinese which is usually funny, very experienced, knows his stuff- specifically Asian culture.
Carnen: She is very caring to her students, and goes out of way to be available. She’s hilarious, and makes the subject matter interesting. She’s strict but really wants students to do well.
PSYCHOLOGY:
Letterman: Pretty funny, very sassy, absolutely knows her stuff—specifically neuropsychology.
Leszczynski: Makes helpful slideshows, the homework is typically very simple, she does a lot of class activities which can be fun.
Danforth: A cool guy, somewhat of a hippie. He uses interesting metaphors and has a lot of field experience. Notes are also super easy to follow. Tests can be hard, but if you study you'll be fine.
