Alan Rickman, famously known as Professor Snape in the popular Harry Potter series, passed away this week at age 69 due to a hard fought battle with cancer. As a very popular and loved character in this movie franchise, his talent will surely be missed among all Harry Potter fans around the world. Watching the movies, your feelings about Professor Snape fluctuated throughout the series, but you grew to love the introverted potions teacher.
In the first movie you thought he was the worst person in the world and prayed that you would never have professors like him in real life.
He was absolutely terrifying when strange things happened at Hogwarts and made you think he was behind all of it.
He always hated your favorite characters so you started to dislike him.
He blew your mind when he reveled his secret in movie six.
You started to get attached to Professor Snape after you realize he did this all for Harry's mom.
His death was one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the entire movie franchise.
So, rest in peace, Alan Rickman. Your talent will never be forgotten.
