Procrastination...

Everyone does it.

Procrastination...

1. Clean your apartment. I mean really clean your apartment. Clean the junk draws, wipe the inside of your refrigerator and all the other cleaning tasks you usually put off.

2. Switch your closet to match the season. You unpack all of the storage bins of clothes you store under your bed and hang them in your closet, and then take all of the previous seasons clothes and pack those away. This can take a good bit of time.

3. Play every game you have on your phone. All of those apps that have the notifications begging you to play, have finally won you over. You play the games on your phone you forgot you had.

4. Watch a few episodes on Netflix. You promise yourself you will only watch one episode and then it turns into 2...or 3.... Or 5.

5. Take a bath. Sometimes I get my best reading done in the bath away from distractions and think I'll be more successful. Or I'll add more bubbles and relax a little while longer.

6. Keep up with 6 loads of laundry you have been putting off. You hate doing laundry but you'd rather do laundry than that dreaded paper.

7. Take a nap. You tell yourself you can take a 30 minute nap to rejuvenate yourself and then you will definitely work on your assignment.

8. Work on your assignment for 15 minutes. You upheld your promise... And then you got distracted.

9. Watch more Netflix. Why not? You got so hooked on the last 5 episodes you watched.

10. Finally start your assistance gnment and finish it in 30 minutes.. You decide you have put it off so long, it's time to do. And then you finish it in no time at all because your deadline is in 15 minutes.

Everyone procrastinates, and that's okay. As long as you actually get your assignment done on time.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
