Recognized worldwide as one of the most prominent Latin Pop artists, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll—better known as simply Shakira—has dominated the music industry since the nineties. After releasing ten albums, promoting five separate tours, and dropping countless chart-topping singles, there is no doubt that Shakira is just as relevant today as she was at the start of her career. In fact, she recently released a new single with fellow Colombian artist Maluma which has already been viewed over five hundred million times on YouTube after only a couple months; this is speculated to be the introduction to her upcoming eleventh album.
