Recognized worldwide as one of the most prominent Latin Pop artists, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll—better known as simply Shakira—has dominated the music industry since the nineties. After releasing ten albums, promoting five separate tours, and dropping countless chart-topping singles, there is no doubt that Shakira is just as relevant today as she was at the start of her career. In fact, she recently released a new single with fellow Colombian artist Maluma which has already been viewed over five hundred million times on YouTube after only a couple months; this is speculated to be the introduction to her upcoming eleventh album. In honor of potential new music, here's a brief guide to the best of her work up until now, in case you aren't familiar.

1. "Hips Don't Lie" (feat. Wyclef Jean)

Undoubtedly the most renowned of Shakira's songs, this duet launched her into fame within the English music market. This sultry Latin club hit combines hip-hop with tropical vibes to "make any man want to learn Spanish." Check out the video here.

P.S.: The Spanish version is called "Será Será" in case you're feeling adventurous.

2. "Underneath Your Clothes"

With this ballad, Shakira proved that she's not only just a feisty, belly-dancing songstress. Her versatility shines through these slow, powerful vocals and poetic lyrics. Take a look at Shakira's more vulnerable side here.

3. "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa/Esto es África)"

This was the theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and is among her most popular hits. Combining English, Spanish and traditional African music, "Waka Waka" is incredibly fun, upbeat, and totally danceable. You can watch its English video here.

4. "Beautiful Liar" (Beyoncé feat. Shakira)

Hottest. Duet. Ever.

See for yourself here.

5. "Ojos Así/Eyes Like Yours"

An earlier hit of hers, in this track Shakira combines Latin and Arabic influences for one hell of an adventure as she searches for a man with mysteriously dark eyes. Watch the tale unfold here.

6. "Try Everything"

If you've seen Disney's recent film "Zootopia," you've probably heard this ridiculously catchy tune. If you're looking for a motivational jam to help you get through your day-to-day struggles, give this song a shot.

7. "Chantaje" (feat. Maluma)

This single is the most recent track Shakira has released and is probably one of the sexiest. Despite being almost forty years old, she proves that she hasn't aged a bit since the beginning of her career in this video.

8. "Antes De Las Seis"

Shakira gets painfully personal in this heart wrenching Spanish ballad about losing love and the prolonged hours of the night that don't seem to end when you're freshly single. Prepare for some feels and watch the live version here.

9. "Las De La Intuición/Pure Intuition"

This banger is an ode to powerful women and incredibly fun to jam out to. The eighties vibe of this track showcases Shakira's ability to tackle any genre and truly make it her own. Get down to these beats here.

10. "Tú"

Here's another ballad to illustrate the diversity of what Shakira is capable of. This song is an emotional roller coaster and will undoubtedly leave you exhausted and fulfilled at the same time. Enjoy it here: my personal favorite live version of the track.

Now that you've added some more Shakira to your repertoire, don't hesitate to find other tracks to go loca over. No matter which beats you choose to dance to, whenever and wherever you are, always make sure your hips don't lie.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
