How do you feel about yourself? I know in my life there have been times where I have felt worthless, like who I was, and my life didn't really matter. There have been times where I have felt down right depressed about who I was, and that my life did not matter. However, I do matter. I am worth so much more than I thought I was. And so are you. We are precious, irreplaceable, and treasured. God who died for you and me says we are priceless. He says we are worth more than money, we are worth more than death, and we are worth love.
Proverbs 3:15 "She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her." Today we have women, and men that are selling themselves for money, or have been tricked and are being used to make money. After doing this for a while they start to think this is all they are worth; money and being taken advantage of. God says we are worth so much more than this! Proverbs 31: 10 "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies." Proverbs 31 is characteristics of a noble wife, however, I feel this also applies to everyone. Change "a wife" with your name. You of noble character are worth far more than rubies. You and your life are priceless, God has said so. So you should hold yourself to a hire standard, because you are worth more.
Psalm 103: 12 "as far as the east is from the west so far has He removed our transgressions from us." God thinks we a worth so much that He sent His one and only son to die for us. He sent His son to take our sins for us so we would not have to face the sting of death. Because we are priceless we don't have to face death anymore. You are worth so much that God wants you to live in joy and happiness with Him eternally!
Ephesians 2:4-5 "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. It is by grace you have been saved." God says we are worth so much that we deserve love. We deserve to be loved and cherished. When you feel like you are alone or unloved, you never are. God is always there, always listening, and always loving you. Psalm 103: 11 "for as high as the heavens are above the earth; so great is His love for those who fear Him."
When you are feeling like you are worthless, or that your life doesn't mean anything look to God. He has made you priceless. He is always there listening and telling you that you are worth more than money, worth more than death, and are so worthy of love.
