Preparing For "Star Wars VII"

Don't you dare spoil why the force is awake!

So the next installment of the Star Wars franchise has just been released. I remember around two years ago when I first heard about the next movie. Needless to say, I've been waiting for the force to awaken for a very long time.

With that being said, here are some ways to prepare (and not ruin) this cinematic adventure:

If you're like me, and some other somewhat discouraged fans, you were not able to get tickets to see the midnight premiere. But for those of you who did... there is a special circle of Hell for you if you decide to post any spoilers to any social media site, or say anything about the movie before asking if we have also seen the movie.

We will attack you with our plastic lightsabers (complete with swoosh sound effects) if you spoil the movie. This is a big deal.

If you just can't get tickets to see the new movie, you can always watch the six previous movies to get yourself excited.

(For added fun, build Star Wars Legos while watching the movies; this is not childish and anyone who says so should leave the premises...forever.)

In the same way, playing Star Wars Legos video games (or any Star Wars video game) can be just as fun and can engage you in a way the movies might not let you.

On the other hand, it is important to consider all possibilities. The new movie might not live up to your exceptions. Chances are, the movie cannot possibly cover everything you want it to. (Especially if you really got behind the Jar Jar Binks as a sith lord theory like I did. I doubt that will actually happen in the movie)

So just relax and appreciate that the Star Wars franchise is still going strong. You've gotten a lot of joy from the anticipation of waiting for the movie to come out.

While it might seem a little late, there is always time to dress up when you go to see the movie. If you don't want to go in full costume: light saber and all, just bring a small item like a ring or necklace that helps you get into the mood for watching the movie.

In the end, this is all to help you get wrapped up in the moment and experience Star Wars as fully as you can.

Please enjoy your holiday and make some time to go out and see the movie. It's sure to be a big hit!
