The Bachelorette has returned for season twelve and our Monday nights have been saved, once again. Ladies, grab your girlfriends and some wine and get ready for our favorite time of the year! As much as we all love the girl drama that The Bachelor gives us, nothing screams entertainment more than a household of testosterone and alcohol. This premiere provided us with lots of hope for JoJo to find love. Night one, these 25 new bachelors came looking good and looking for love. True colors already shined and we know it's only the beginning...
My best friend, Elena, and I have teamed up to bring you some of our recaps and predictions for this season!
Chad - The "bad boy" we all hate to hate (no love to be found here Chad).
M: ABC always picks that one guy or girl who is clearly attractive, but also psychotic (shoutout to you Olivia). Everyone, meet Chad. I called his underlying craziness and overdose of testosterone from the moment he walked out of the limo and started bagging on the rest of the guys in the house. Clearly handsome and charming, but there's more to this one than his looks and let's just hope JoJo figures that out sooner than later. Judging from the season previews, his true colors show pretty early on. I'm predicting that by episode 4 or 5, he's a goner. Sorry Chad, no amount of weight lifting or good hair gel can mask your ugly personality.
E: Can't lie, I was fooled by Chad's good looks and charm when he first stepped out of the limo, and I think JoJo was too. We quickly got a glimpse into his "true colors" during his private interviews when he decided to hate on all the other men in the house! Based on the previews for this season it's safe to say Chad sticks around for awhile and stirs up some tension/drama during his stay. Let's see how long it takes JoJo to see what all of the other men in the house see.
Jordan - First impression rose.
M: First out of the limo, first real kiss (sorry Will, that peck didn't count), and first guy to win a rose. Wasn't too sure of this one at first, but his charm won me over for sure. Love that he saved JoJo from Will's awkward "let me unwantedly kiss you" moment, and sealed the deal with kiss and a rose. The connection between these two is sure to stir up some jealousy in the house, but I'm rooting for this one! See you at the final rose ceremony Jordan...
E: First guy out of the limo, naturally, loved him immediately, and his connection with JoJo is undeniable. After their first conversation, I wasn't completely convinced that their connection would be the strongest, but after he re-stole her away to lay one on her, I was sold. So glad he didn't let his regret take control, and by JoJo giving him the first impression rose, I think it's safe to say he'll be around till the end.
First One-On-One - Luke
M: Kudo points to Luke for matching JoJo's unicorn entrance! Not to mention, the obvious connection between these two and the southern charm he brings to the group. After obviously gaining JoJo's attention after getting out of the limo, Luke strikes back again by surprising her with a pair of cowboy boots. While he didn't win the first impression rose, JoJo shows us that he was most likely the runner-up, by giving him the first rose at the rose ceremony. Hopefully the Texas connection between these two and the charm Luke brings to the table wins him the first one on one with JoJo.
E: I mean, choosing to ride in on a unicorn instead of walking out of the limo was an amazing first impression! Luke seems to be the perfect match for JoJo's Texas charm and fun personality. Wasn't surprised that he was the first man called at the rose ceremony, so I won't be too surprised if next week Luke gets the first one-on-one. I have some high hopes for these two's future!
Stay tuned for more prediction's and recaps of each week's episode!
