Last week the Panic! At The Disco Twitter account erupted with new information about the album and tour that will be blessing our playlists and ears this summer!! To say I am excited is an understatement. I genuinely got out of my seat and ran around my apartment yelling when I found out. Brendon Urie, lead singer of P!ATD, had been posting cryptic messages for a week or so and the band has done a couple pop up shows around the U.S. so when we finally got the deets we had been waiting for, everything seemed so much closer and way more real. Brendon hasn’t put out new music since 2016 with his “Death of a Bachelor” album. “Pray for the Wicked” will be his sixth studio album and I have a feeling it will be one of the best.

Brendon loves to use samples with a lot of brass instruments and pull from older sounding songs. Frank Sinatra is also one of Brendon’s biggest inspirations and you can definitely hear the parallels in some of Panic!’s newer music. Urie also has an incredible vocal range and I'm sure we'll see more of this talent on "Pray for the Wicked."

Back in February he teased a bit of one of his new singles "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" and showed off those iconic, beautiful high notes that shifted from a high A to B. He is notorious for changing notes and tossing in gorgeous vocal riffs and runs during his live shows so I can not wait to see what he does with "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" on tour.

The Pray for the Wicked tour is going to start in July of this year after the album drops June 22nd, which will give all the fans plenty of time to memorize every single word and note. The tickets go on sale Friday the 30th at 9 a.m. local time so be ready! Ticketmaster says the tickets will range from $29.75-$69.75 and there are also some VIP packages available.

One of the things I'm most excited for from this tour, besides the new tunes and seeing my favorite person in the world, is the change in the Panic! lineup. Dallon Weekes, the former bass player of P!ATD, left the band at the end of last year to pursue different projects and Nicole Row has stepped up to fill the rhythm role.

Fans are super pumped to see a woman in the band and it'll be interesting to see what she brings vocally as well as musically overall. I'm also incredibly thrilled to see Hayley Kiyoko and ARIZONA open for Panic! as well, Hayley Kiyoko is one of my favorite artists and this will definitely give her the exposure and recognition she deserves!

This new era of Panic! is coming and I'm beyond excited to see where Brendon is going to take us. There is new merch, a new tour, and new jams that are waiting to be discovered this summer and I know P!ATD won't disappoint. Hopefully, I can snatch up some tickets and see Brendon, Hayley Kiyoko, and ARIZONA really soon!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
