Let's be honest Spring Break is no "break." In fact, the most relaxing part of Spring Break is coming back to school from break. After a week on the beach, the slopes or abroad with all of your friends, you're bound to experience the "Post-Spring Break Syndrome." You know you did Spring Break right if any of these apply to you:
Your bed has never been more comfortable.
You will not want to move from your bed for at least 24 hours.
A shower has never felt so good.
I have never been more desperate for a nice hot shower then I was after a week in a beach house with 40 people and 13 girls sharing 1 shower.
Personal space has never been more necessary.
You will cherish at least one day to relax, recover, and just be alone.
A salad, fresh veggies and fruit have never tasted better.
After eating Mac N' Cheese, fast food, and pizza for at least one meal a day for a week straight all your body wants is a fresh salad.
The thought of the gym is actually appealing.
Your body most likely hates you at this point and the thought of the gym sounds surprisingly nice.
The scale is your ultimate enemy.
Ladies stay clear of the scale... You really don't want to know how much weight you actually gained this week.
You've never despised the taste of alcohol more.
Shots just will not go down the same for at least a weekend.
Reality is a dread and homework is the ultimate devil.
Coming back from Spring Break to a week of tests, essays, and homework is seriously depressing.
Your laundry loads are unreal...
You might just want to set aside an entire day to handle that situation.
Your bank account is in the negatives.
It hurts to look at the damage you've done to your bank account after Spreak.
Your tan is probably the best result of your break.
There is nothing like Spring Break and the aftermath is completely worth it! I'm sure if you did it right, you too will have experienced all of the above!
