It's that point in the semester where conquering each day until finals gets harder and harder to do. Having that joyous week off is so hard to overcome, whether you took a destination trip, worked, or sat at home on your couch. It's safe to admit that going back to the classroom is just not very exciting after a week of nothing. It's the post-spring break slump, friends. There are lots of emotions to accompany it while it's here.
That feeling when you realize break is over and it's time to handle responsibilities again like an adult
Checking your bank account after ignoring how small those numbers got over the break
When your professors jump right back into the full swing of things
Trying to eat healthy for the remainder of the break after dropping that term from your vocabulary (and lifestyle) for a week
Listening to people talk about all the stupid things they did over the break
Being the palest person in a sea of people who spent their week (and weeks prior) in the sun on a beach.
Realizing you have 7 more weeks until finals (and your next break)
It's the end of the road, guys. The finish line is in sight. We can do this.
