Most people have either been the subject of a catcall, or have been around to witness it. If you ever had to walked through Hempstead or crossed the turnpike, you've probably been cat called. Although individuals have been catcalled for years, it is still annoying. These are just some of the thoughts post-catcalling:

1. Ugh again.

2. Seriously, why are you doing this? I'm in a sweatshirt right now.

3. Do you talk to your mom like that?

4. Or your sister?

5. Do you think this will work?

6. No one will ever just jump in car with you.

7. No one likes it.

8. You seem like a scrub.

9. No one can tell the difference if you're being a threat or not.

10. I only see a threat when you do it.

11. Or that you’re a scrub.

12. Just back off.

13. I will mace you.

14. It isn’t a compliment.

15. You just seem like a guy who lonely.

16. Plus, do you think I don’t know I look good?

17. Man, I know I look good.

18. You are like the telemarketers of the streets.

19. No one wants to hear from them either.

20. You don’t know what diseases I could have.

21. I mean-- I don’t have any, I’m not the idiot here.

22. It sucks when they do it while your driving.

23. I don’t want to look over and see a guy staring at me.

24. I’m driving, don’t distract me.

25. I don’t want to feel unsafe because of you.

26. Especially when I’m heading to class.

27. I don’t want to begin my day like that.

28. I wish one day I could go from point A to point B without being harassed.

29. No one is dressing for you.

30. I didn’t wake up and think “I want to be cat called by random people all day so ill wear this.”

31. I’m dressing for me, and only me.

32. It sucks that before I go anywhere I have to ask myself if this will provoke someone.

33. No one should have to do that.

34. "If your dress like a slut, you should expect it."

35. But no one should be shamed for the way they choose to dress.

36. Dammit.
