So right now you're probably thinking: who the hell is John Kasich? Um, well, there's this thing called the President of the United States and he's actually running to be the GOP nomination for it! Crazy, crazy stuff. He is the current governor of the great (sarcastic italic) state of Ohio where he's been pretty successful. Kasich took an $8 billion deficit and turned it into a $2 billion surplus. And, I don't know about you, but I think that's a lot of money.
During a time where every Republican debate is a reality show, Governor Kasich has been able to dodge the absurdity taking place, which is probably why he is struggling to win states. He has stuck to what he's wanted to say, so take notice the next time there's a debate. When he speaks, all of the other candidates actually look at him and listen. Trump isn't making facing at him, Rubio isn't itching to speak next, and Cruz isn't smiling like a buffoon. With the way he's carried himself, Kasich has become the most respectable candidate out of the bunch. He doesn't have the youth of Rubio or the pizzazz of Trump which is the sad reason that he's in last place. Americans are quick to judge and rarely care about respect. While the other candidates mock and attack each other, which makes them look ridiculous, Kasich kinda just chills in the back.
Picture it this way. There's a really attractive girl at this party and all of the guys are going after her with a lack of self-respect. Sure John Kasich sees her and is like "wow she's hot" but he's shy and can wait for the right moment. But here comes Donald Trump:
Up next, we have Marco Rubio trying to work his magic:
And then there's Ted Cruz who can be found practicing his pick-up lines on himself:
But then here comes John Kasich out of nowhere with a guitar and Billy Idol!
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Okay so maybe he isn't actually friends with Billy Idol, but John Kasich is a cool dude just for the fact that he's kept to himself which I respect him for. I'm not a political expert and this isn't me saying "go vote for Kasich" but I just want people to realize that there's more than three people running for the GOP nomination. Maybe he isn't the best candidate to be the president but hey, everyone deserves a chance.
Do yourself and America a favor and educate yourself on all of the candidates before you vote. Don't just follow what the media tells you because if you do, you won't even know anything about John Kasich, who is a respectable, qualified candidate.
