POLITICS ARE IMPORTANT

POLITICS BLAH BLAH BLAH

Is there anyone out there that thinks this whole political method is just bunk as hell? Like, let me put it in a simpler manner. Why do we need to have political parties? Why can’t we just have people who represent ideals they like? Instead of Republican, why not just Donald Trump? It’s the 21st century and it is accepted world-wide, that evolution does occur and hopefully it’s progressive; as in we continue to progress as humans. Why do we continually choose to stay divided? Do you understand what I mean? Why can’t Democrats get along with Republicans? No one was born a Republican or Democrat? Do you understand that?

It’s not natural. It’s brain wash. Donald J. Trump is the front runner for the Republican party currently, and he has literally 0 experience politically, has been known to praise the Democratic party, and yet is still leading. I’ve seen the people that follow him, I’ve listened to what they’ve said. Do me a favor, and go to Donald Trump’s Facebook and read comments on his posts of people who support him. The words they write contain hate. I can literally feel the anger. The people who support Trump aren’t “Republicans” but rather people that hate the world. A world that politics has created. Do you understand that? With an opposing force, you can simply blame problems on them. A Republican does something wrong, it’s the Democrats problem and vice versa. The hate and separation will never end until we understand that it’s all just a ploy.

We are being robbed of the natural liberties we were given because we can’t seem to understand that violence doesn’t have to be the answer, or anger, or aggression. It doesn’t have to be the answer, I am not saying it shouldn’t exist. But politics shouldn’t exist. Let’s be real, do you really need someone in your life telling you how to live it, aside from your parents? No, right? I have had 0 influence politically, and I’m doing just fine. If anything, I’ve learned to dislike politics and the government more and more as I continue to get older. Bernie Sanders should be our president but because of this division and preconceived notions already, he may not. I get that some of his ideas are pretty liberal and a bit farfetched but it’s the fact that he truly cares about our country’s desperate need of attention in areas that matter. To me, he isn’t a Democrat but he is labeled as one. Just as Trump isn’t a Republican but is labeled as one. We are better than this, as people, but it’s only a matter of time till something causes us to wake up, and I fear that when you do, it can be too late. And the future we’ve created cannot be fixed. I hope you reading this, I hope you understand that our country, our world, is falling apart. The media is actually doing a fantastic job of covering all of this up and dumbing us down with insane amounts of entertainment, but it’s coming. Our bubble is going to pop. I hope you are ready for it. And it will be the fault of these “politics”.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
