Poetry On Odyssey: The Sun Will Rise Again

Life has definitely thrown a set of challenges my way and not everyone I have encountered in this world has been kind. It is easy to continue the cycle of negativity, but it takes courage and bravery to seek the high road. So, here is a poem expressing my feelings about courage and spreading kindness in a world that needs it most. Don't let the negativity around you bring you down, keep shining and spreading your good qualities to the world.

Life has not been easy

That is one thing I do know.

Not everyone is kind

And things aren't always fair.

But I know this piece as well,

If pens are greater than swords,

Then listen to these words:

It may have seemed that

My light was put out,

But the sun will rise again.

Stronger and brighter,

Ready to spread light

And life to the world

During the worst of times,

No matter how long it takes.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
