I wouldn't exactly say you're my hero, because when I met you I was doing just fine.

And maybe you weren't exactly what I needed at the time, but you have become everything that I've wanted.

I wasn't in search to find my other half, because I thought I was whole.

But our hearts have intertwined and you're embedded in my soul.

No you did not rescue me from this world, but you have introduced me to a universe of undeniable beauty:

Where my mind is calm and my heart is full.

And it's not that you saved me, it's that you showed me that I did not need to be saved because those who need saving were lost...

I was exactly where I needed to be.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
