Poetry On Odyssey: "No Force On Earth"
Camden Tang

There is no force on Earth stronger than a woman.
In a society of sexism and prejudice,
She will stand tall and proud.
You can take away her rights.
You can take away her voice.
You can take away her freedom.
But you will never take away her resilience.
She will persist.
She will brave the toughest storms
And dodge threats and insults like they are bullets.
In the face of oppression, she will fight and succeed
And she will declare triumphantly,
“I am here to stay.”
For there is no force on Earth stronger than a woman determined to rise.

There is no force on Earth stronger than a woman.
In a society of hatred and chaos,
She will stand tall and proud.
Through others may mock and laugh and ridicule,
She will be living proof of goodness and love.
Some may doubt her.
Some may misunderstand her.
Some may hurt her.
But all to no avail.
She will persist.
She is a warrior, fierce and ferocious.
A lover and fighter, she will fight for what she loves.
In the face of adversary, she will prevail despite all odds
And she will declare triumphantly,
“You cannot break me.”
For there is no force on Earth stronger than a woman determined to rise.

A poem dedicated to my strong and independent sisters of Sigma Psi Zeta. Never back down and never stop fighting, ladies.

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.” – Unknown

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
