Poetry On Odyssey: "A Foretold Shipwreck"

The sirens wail and

There he lay a shipwreck

And I stand with splintered eyes wide

Tantalized by the false muses

Bewitching, whimsical, wonder that I have wandered into

A world so worthless

And held true by a pale few

And now he sits a clipped winged passion

With feathers littering his corpse.
