the night that I was going to die

wasn’t night, was it?

sky blue day

tragically joyous like May

wasn’t it?

my heart rhythm incomplete

your love pools under my skin

deep purple passion

the blood bruises on my skin, ashen

air robbed from my throat

reconciliation for my sins

shards of hate pierce my eyes

sharp as your sadistic grin

bright blue veins dilate

you desecrate the beat of my heart

extreme mortality rate

and what have you left me with

my mind teems, screams

with psychotic odor,

idiotic

the frigid narcotic warmth of your love

cold comfort of arms, fragile body

mind heart love disembodied

harm, arms, chaos, charm

dark, darling

blue like my worldview

bright blue, light, eternal flight

feel what lies underneath

i hate you don’t leave me

don’t you dare cheat me

i love you

believe me
