It's Monday, November 7th, and tomorrow as we all know is Election Day. Have you made up your mind as to who you're voting for?
If not, that's okay. I voted early and was unsure until the moment that I hit "submit vote." All I knew was who I wasn't voting for, which is okay too.
So how to you find out who will best be able to represent you from the White House?
There are many websites and quizzes that can help you with that, but these are my personal favorites:
This quiz can help you identify who you side with most based on your beliefs and what is most important to you. Even if you took it before the primaries, it's good to take another look because time has passed, so you may look at the world a little differently now.
This site can show you what each candidates individual beliefs are on a certain subject, if that subject is extremely important to you. It also tells you how their beliefs have changed over the years.
It is extremely important that everyone gets out there and votes. This is the election of a century, and everyone has a right to state their opinion by voting.
So if you are registered to vote, but either don't want to or are unsure of who to vote for, please still go to the polls and make a decision. People may tell you not to waste your vote on a third party candidate because of the electoral college or because it's dumb, but if that is who you can consciously vote for, then go for it. People may judge you for who you vote for, but you don't have to tell them and it's your vote. You get a say.
Presidents aren't the only thing that is being elected this election season. If you want your president to be able to do something about the issues that you're concerned about, make sure you vote for the candidates running for the Senate or House of Representatives that can help them accomplish what you want.
Democracy is making sure that you get a voice by being able to vote, so go do it!
